Hi, I need help

Hi,

For the past year, I've been suffering from these bad headaches which slightly affect the way I think and the way I talk as I am unable to fully concentrate on my activities once these headaches hit me. Since the past month I have been suffering from tremors. These tremors are in the neck, arms and legs. When I am home, I am only suffering from the headache and slightly by the tremor. However, when I am outside I have them all and at times start sweating on my face due to nervousness. When I am sitting down, sometimes my neck slightly falls back.

All of this is hard for me to deal with, somehow I'm starting to control it but it is bothering me.

Thank you

I believe it was caused from carbon monoxide poisoning because I smoked these ciggaretes, Davidoff Lights which have a large % of carbon monoxide. I smoked these cigarretes in a hotel bathroom. I truly believe it was caused by that.

Hello,

Resting tremors occur occurs when muscles are at rest, making an arm or a leg shake even when a person is completely relaxed. The tremor becomes less noticeable or disappears when the person moves the affected muscles. These tremors are often slow and coarse.

These tremors develop when collections of nerve cells at the base of the cerebrum (including the basal ganglia) are disturbed like in Parkinson's disease. Other causes are Wilson's disease, non-Wilsonian hepatocerebellar degeneration and midbrain pathology secondary to stroke or demyelinating disease. Antipsychotic drugs, carbon monoxide poisoning, and heavy metal poisoning  are other common cause of resting tremors.

I feel that consultation from a neurologist is required to rule out these possibilities.

Do keep me posted on how you are doing and if you have any additional queries.

Hello,

Are the tremors present at rest or do they occur when you are moving your hand and disappear at rest?  Sometimes postural tremors may occur when you are holding your hand or affected body part in a particular position for a period of time.

Causes of headache and tremors are stress, anxiety and panic attacks, too much consumption of caffeine or alcohol, low blood sugar(hypoglycemia),autoimmune disease like multiple sclerosis, thyroid disorders, cerebellar dysfunction and liver disease.

Pls check out your emotional state and coffee or alcohol consumption. Also get your blood sugar, thyroid hormones and liver function tests evaluated. If deranged, then pls consult a physician.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Headaches and tremors sound like magnesium deficiency.
You can take magnesium supplements and eat foods high in magnesium, such as almonds and almond butter.

You can find articles about magnesium deficiency to explain more about this.

Wishing you the best,
Carol
