I should add to that about 20 years ago I was on methotrexate trial for Ankylosing spondylitis. It was short term only a few weeks due  to intolerance. have also been on Prednisone on and off for 20 years. Currently my sed and ana rates have been normal.  So there is also a history of Ankl.Spond, and mild Psoriatic Arthritis. So there is some Auto immune involvement , but nothing to indicate current high white counts etc that have been occurring for months now.

Thank you for your response, Re possible other - "depression, sleep apnea, lack of nutrients or possibly anemia, thyroid problems or heart disease " negative on all above except mild heart disease ( pulmonic stenosis since birth-mild. and tricuspid regurg) other history positive for night sweats , frequent infections, (migraines since last November, ) and  frequent swollen lymphnodes for over two years (groin, arm pit and under chin) . Am going in for a LP and or BMB this month. Really hoping this is just a reacurrence of an old EBV infection... I have asked to have that checked, as about 10 yrs ago I still showed the infection.. is that a possibility? or naive and wishful thinking?

i wouldnt jump to any conclusions just yet, opportunistic viral infections/ allergic reactions can also cause high readings. do you have any other symptoms, frequent infections, any painless lumps in lymph areas such as the neck, underarm, stomach, groin? unexplained weight loss or night sweats? In many cases of chronic leukemia people have no symptoms at all. when early symptoms do occur they are very noticable. your exhaustion could be due to something as simple as inactivity, depression, sleep apnea, lack of nutrients or possibly anemia, thyroid problems or heart disease. many other pathologies are much more likely then leukemia. have you suggested leukemia to your GP, if so has he/she placed you on a tests and procedure action play so you may track your diagnoses? if you are overly concerned, leukemia can be ruled out via biopsy (bone or spinal fluid)
