Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Endocrine gland related conditions like hyperthyroidism, acromegaly and glucose control disorders (diabetes and hypoglycemia both) all result in increased sweating. All these have probably been investigated in your case. Pheochromocytoma, cancers, carcinoid syndromes, tuberculosis and other infections too can cause increased sweating. It can also be due to low blood pressure. Menopause can be another cause. Avoid too much of tea, coffee, smoking and spicy food as these can also cause hyperhidrosis. It can also be a part of anxiety-panic attack. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Do consult your doctor regarding this.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
I have been that way since I started having kids...I am 48 now and people have been blaming it on HOT FLASHES...it's not a flash Buttheads..This lasts for as long as the weather is over 70* for me...It's the humidity that gets ya...and if it goes over 55% then you are screwed for the day. I can't walk across the room without feeling like I'm gonna puke from the hot. It's disgusting when you have to go somewhere..cause it's hard to get sressed and I know what ya mean about "After a shower" Holy Crap!. I sweat and it makes my skin prickle and my clothes hurt and I look like I'm gonna croak . Can't blame it on high blood pressure cause I used to be paper thin and I still had this problem and My blood pressure was always low....I think some people are just blessed with this problem although we seem to be far and few between because I have not seen ANYONE suffer like I do. It's miserable... and Make up!..YEAH! Forget it..
I feel for ya... I have gotten no answers from anyone either..but if I do...You will be the first I tell. No one knows what we feel or go through....
