Hot flashes

I am in my early 70s and having frequent hot flashes since going off my HRT in Mid May.   I am taking some natural stuff but just started it.    The name is Harmony by Dr. Lark.   Just started it, so no results yet.

However, something strange--I do not perspire--the non perspiring  has been going on for at least 2 yrs.   Odd.   Anybody else have that?

Given the criteria you mention of internal heat- what about someone who sweats when a fever breaks?

Oops- saw I typed a wrong word, saying 'who have reduced respiration'... I meant perspiration!  Sorry about that!

Your hot flashes are definately hormonal imbalances, and there is an awesome cheap pill called i-cool that works wonders. The perspiration issue can me a number of things that happen as we age, and also many women do not sweat during hot flashes because it is an internal heat not external like the sun, which triggers sweating. Your doctor would be best able to find a solution that works for you because they know your full history.
