I have a bad cough, sweating, chest pressure, and fatigue. Any ideas what this might be?

I am a 44 year old female.  I am relatively healthly.  Last week, I was diagnosed with a sinus infection.  I am taking an antibiotic, cough meds, and I was given the "sinus cocktail" shot. I only have 1 pill left to take of my antibiotic.

I have a cough that is getting worse.  Also, I am breaking out in a sweat about every 30 minutes to a half hour.  My chest has started hurting even when I am not coughing.  It is starting to feel like a pressure.  I am very fatigued and want to sleep a lot.  When I try and sleep, I can't sleep.

Any ideas?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

The symptoms are suggestive of viral bronchitis.Chest pain is due to pleurisy or irritation of the pleura.Usually it takes some time to settle down.Meanwhile,I’ll advise you to take steam inhalation on regular basis.I won’t suggest any further course of antibiotics as a cough which is bacterial in origin is usually productive in nature and is not dry.I’ll also suggest you to take some cough lozenges as they also help in soothing the throat and improving the symptoms. Drink plenty of fluids, and try cold medicines and anti-inflammatory medicines like diclofenac. If the symptoms persist or is accompanied by fever then pls consult a physician and get other lung conditions like tuberculosis ruled out.X-ray of the chest may be needed along with tuberculin test to confirm a diagnosis.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted.Kind regards.
