Hi, I am 18 year old male. For the past 5 months I have been experiencing following: really hot in my upper body almost 24/7, feeling almost like sunburn all the time. Heart palpitations, sometimes with dizzines and fast heartrate. Blood pressure has been normal around 120/60, but occasional it has spiked. I have also been experiencing occasional headaches. Occasionally out of breath. Finger and toenails are occasionally turning to bluish colour. Also some chest pressure. Sometimes my eyes feel dry and also my skin seems sometimes pretty dry. Also occasional pain in the kidney region. The cause is still undiagnosed.
When I first started having these, I went to the ER 6 times in two weeks. They couldnt find nothing wrong with me. I went to doctor too, I had thyroid tests which turned out to be normal, my TSH was 0.65. It had been 2.2 just 2 months earlier. Kidney and liver tests were normal too. I had echocardiogram and stress test on heart. They diagnosed me with mitral valve prolapse and mild valve regulation. But that doesn't explain all my symptoms. Cortisol levels were normal, I tested DHEA-S also, the doctor said it was high'ish if I remember correctly but haven't still got the results on paper. I feel really ill all the time and the heat is really horrible. Also it feels like it is affecting my heart too because it pounds really hard 24/7, I have been taking beta blockers for it, which helps slightly.
I really want to find the cause to this before it causes some serious damage. Could it be something wrong in my adrenals? That could explain the pain around kidneys. If anyone has some insight that would be awesome.
