Left arm numb and losing control of it

Woke up with a sore neck 1/14 and numbness in left thumn/pointer. That numbness has spread to my entire arm, should left side of neck and left side of face over last 7 days. I have been to neurologist who ordered MRI, EEG, and Nerve conduction test. Nerve conduction test was good with great reflex response. She gave me multiple cortisone shots and muscle relaxers which did nothing. She is now thinking possible epilepsy but wants MRI results before saying for sure. The hospital has not called me for my MRI nor EEG appointment yet. Today I am having a hard time actually controlling the left arm and it feels very heavy. Cant grip a fork or bar of soap without intense focus. Is it time for me to escalate and go to hospital or continue to wait? Each day is worse than the previous.
