full body scan ?

ive been essentially exhausted for about 2 years, im 43 and male, i have discoverd that i could have a full body scan to try and discover if anything is wrong with me, and i m wondering if anyone has had a scan like that and if theyre a waste of money ($500)  a long term back injury pain medication use (both now over)  left me with some depression / insomnia, but i just cant seem to get any enthusiasm back for life? all i want to do is sleep or read a book, i used to be EXTREMELY PHYSICAL ride bikes work hard play sports etc etc, but now at 43  feel like im 80, its hard for me to walk up stairs.

completely exhausted all the time weak ad listless.

any ideas? body scan worth a shot?

The body scan wouldnt hurt, 500 dollers isnt much for piece of mind, Ive heard those scans show everything.  Although that is just tumors or arterys I belive.  It will not show organ or endocrine fuction or suggishness.  It sounds to me like you have some physical depression, not psycological, there is a difference.  Physical depression can come about from illnessses or medications throwing your body chemistry off.  Especially your sleep cycles.  Maybe even a good liver detox, those pain medications are not easy on the liver or your system.  It would be worth asking the doctor about some short term anti depression meds Ive really heard they work well if you need them and sometimes you dont realize it.
