Lower right abdomen pain

I have been suffering with a sharp-burning pain in my lower right abdomen area for a couple weeks now. It started off to be just on and off, but now it is getting more frequent and longer. Could this be appendecitis?

Hi, I have been having the same thing.  it was so bad yesterday that i thought of a heating pad but thought if it is appendix would rupture.  I did have an ovarian cyst tears ago and they can come and go.  I plan to go to my Dr. and will let you know what I find out...although here in canada, i have to wait to see one.  Let me know what you find out.

It could also be an ovarian cyst. Usually someone with appendicitis will have nausea and/or vomiting.
