Lump in groin, under ribs, and more

Hey, I'm male and 17 years old. This a long one. About two to three months ago I spotted a lump in the left side of my groin. Thought nothing of it, but about a month later I found some ridges under both sides of my ribcage (quite big) and recently had lumps appear in my neck (which are actually going). Most recently I have had some stomach pains. A bit freaked but would just like to have some advice,as I plan to the see doctor soon and would like to know what I am entering. Thanks.

There are multiple things that the lumps could be. They could be veins that have wound themselves up into balls on the surface. Or more commonly, they could be fatty tumors that are non-cancerous. A lot of people have them throughout their body and don't even realize it b/c they have no symptoms and create no real problems. It could also be cysts, fluid filled, or just a gland that as been blocked off. On the other hand, if they are inflammed lymph nodes that could be concern for more serious problems. My philosophy is plan for the worst, pray for the best, BUT don't let your mind wonder to far with what it could be, b/c stress can add more symptoms that are totally unrelated and yet seem important at the time. I am not a Doctor, but I am a radiologica Technologist. (I do x-rays, CT's and MRI's) and I see a lot of pathology! Going to the doctor is a good idea....it could be nothing, but no doctor will ever repremand you for checking into a lump. Good Luck
