Separating milk induced food poisoning from other symptoms

I had been getting really bad GERD symptom- coughing, wheezing, hotness of mouth but time of proper sleeping- not lying down before hand generally. I also have had powerful sneezing particularly at night but not just then also morning sometimes.

I realised I had been drinking expired off milk- I noticed some off taste but because I was eating it with cocoa- I did realise the milk was- 4 days past used-by date. And the milk carton sometimes has an off-smell even the milk is bubbly and otherwise good to drink.  I didn't feel sick generally other than mild headache so now I am trying pin what's can be due to the milk and what's not. Finding information on milk induced food poisoning is difficult so what are the total list of symptoms of off-milk poisoning?

Sorry, my computer wouldn't let me get back to you.  Spoiled milk contains a lot of germs and is not good for you.  It can cause diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration.  Sorry the information I gave you was wrong.
As I said before, however, milk is good for 7 days past the expiration/pull date.

I'm glad that you are okay as regards the milk.  I hope that you are feeling better today.  One thing I found - when you are not drinking milk, is to drink a little vinegar in your water or eat a dill pickle.  It can kill salmonella germs (food poisoning.)   Before you eat out, you might try this little trick - prevents the problem. -  Don't mix milk with a dill pickle!!  You'd be throwing up cottage cheese!!  Not pleasant.

Thanks for your reply.

The milk was bitter. Our refrigerator is very old probably not so effective around the door.  I didn't get any of those those symptoms.

Usually one will vomit if they drink spoiled milk.  However, some people like the taste and drink it regularly.  I guess it would depend on your constitution (your body).
Generally speaking milk is good for 7 days after the expiration date.  Some people use a pinch of baking soda in the milk when they first buy it to keep it good for a few more days. (I don't)
Hope this answered your question...  If you get a headache from it, it is possible that you are becoming lactose intolerant.  Just drink Lactaid milk instead.
    Wishing you the best...
