MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
You must consult a rheumatologist. Rheumatoid arthritis is what you probably have. This can also cause rash. Well, joint pains with rash can be seen in SLE, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, polymayalgia rheumatica and chronic fatigue syndrome. Gout, though typically affects the great toe, can cause multiple joint pain with rash. Hashimotos Thyroiditis is another possibility.
All these conditions will have to be ruled out one by one. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Went to rheumatologist in March 2010. Did x-rays of feet and hands as well as bloodwork to check for Rheumatoid arthritis. Even though regular bloodwork showed RF over 200 all of the tests came back neg. for RA.  Since then I have had all these new symptoms @ an increased level: confusion, headaches, fatigue, swelling above collarbone near neck (w/o pain in that area), extremely itchy armpits. I have had spine and hip problems on & off for 2 years which I have been seeking treatment for. Long history of spine pain, Disc degeneration, joint aches.
Recently I saw my regular Doctor and pointed out the swelling and told him of severe itching and his response was he had no idea what was causing it.
