Meinere's disease? Symptoms match. Having BAD episode help

I have been having horrible ear pain and pressure and headaches for years now and the symptoms match meinere's. Not been diagnosed yet but I am having a really bad episode that started 4 hrs ago. I took some otc migraine med and sudafed. That took the edge off but my head is still throbbing and I have no wish to eat. I haven't eaten in 10 hrs. If anyone has this problem can you please help me find out how to get through the episodes.

It could be a migraine. Migraines do cause dizziness and pain, of course. The migraine doctor I see said that there is something called MAV (migraine associated vertigo) that symptoms are the same as Meniere's. Something to look in to....

Hi Don't know if its common but when I had menieres episode I couldnt turn my head slightly without feeling like I was whirling round I also had really bad nausea. Perhaps you should go back to your Dr. You certainly shouldnt be putting up with severe pain. Hope you do get something to help you. take care Chris

I wouldn't say it is bad vertigo but I do get dizzy when I move my head. Whatever I have the only real thing that stops the pain is sleep.

Menieres you usually have really bad vertigo as well when you move your head. Very much like your spinning round nd round. Go to your dr if this is what you are experiencing you can get some tablets to stop it. I honestly can,t remember what there called . I had a couple of episodes a few years ago but have never had any since. My Gp gave me meds for Menieres and they did work. Hope this helps.
