Menstrual Problems

hmp
I am 39 years old and for the second time in five months I have had an extra period mid-cycle, these are the same as my normal periods, very heavy with large clots. Do you have any idea what is causing this?

It could be a number of things.  Fibroids, hormonal disruption, lack of ovulation and early menopause can cause this. Your gyne can evaluate this properly and maybe offer hormonal therapy if it's starting to be a problem. There are natural hormones you can take.
