I have no clue what is going on with me and I have no insurance!

First let me thank all who read this I am in real need of help. I am frustrated and I cannot afford to go to the doctor right now. Here are my symptoms...I have a knot that is extremely painful when you put pressure on it. One is located on my back above the bra strap on the left side and the other is on my right forearm on top in the muscle near the elbow joint. I have get a really bad burning sensation in my upper back ( have disc problems in my lower back) I have frequent heartburn and have been having chest pain it comes quickly then goes away. These pain come at anytime mostly without exertion. Today my elbow inside the joint was aching and now I have a pain in my forearm. the best way to describe it is that imagine your vein in your arm was hurting. All my joints are stiff and pop ( all of them) and my knees grind like they need oil. I used to nearly pass out from standing up slow or fast it did not matter. It is just when I stand and put my hands above my head in prayer style and lean my head back. That is a yoga move going from downward dog to the warrior stance. I have a heart murmur I was born with it. I am 5'5" 190 pounds I do not workout at all I stopped due to a car accident back in August 2010 I will start a new program 1-10-2011 but before I start it I want to know if it my be unsafe I am thinking if I lose some weight 80% of my problems know will go away. also I almost forgot I get bad headaches if I drink a soda it will go away.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! You need to see a doctor. Until you can arrange that take a multivitamin pill. Eat at regular intervals. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime. Refrain from smoking, alcohol, fuzzy drinks, caffeine, and spicy food. See if this helps. Also get your BP checked to see if it is not too high or too low. It can also be stress and lack of proper sleep.  If it does not help then you will have to consult a doctor to run tests to rule out thyroid problems, ear problems, pinched cervical spinal nerves,  heart problems, rheumatoid arthritis, Vit D deficiency etc. Take care!

It could be an Ulner nerve issue, the not is most likely a muscle, elbow joint
inside the elbow joint felt externally may be tendonitis.I have always been a active person and fit so it was kind of weird.Have you had any contrast
for MRI or CAT scan in the last few months?Soda can give relief to headaches either due to the sodium or caffiene.Vit.D could be a culprit
the lack of.

I am not sure what the knots could be. Do you think they are muscle tissue? Like if you massage them, they feel better? I know that muscles can knot up and cause a whole lot of pain. And speaking of pain, I feel your pain about your back burning. Does it burn on both sides of your spine right in the middle of your back? If so, I have noticed that my posture has a lot to do with how much the muscles burn. On days when I would be bending down a lot, it would hurt worse. Pay attention to your posture and see if that doesn't help the burning sensation somewhat.

As far as the headaches.. do you wear glasses or have a caffeine addiction? I have both.. lol. I was just thinking if you are getting rebound headaches from not having a caffeinated drink. If so, there's your answer. But I also remembered that before I got my eyes checked, I would get headaches from my eyes struggling so hard to focus. My vision looked clear, but my eyes were having to work so hard to make things clear that my head would ache so terribly bad. Sometimes drinking a soda would make it go away.

Anyway, good luck on your new exercise routine. You're a better person than I! I just can't get motivated to work out! -_- I'm sorry if I wasn't of much help--but I do empathize with you about the joints. My husband's joints hurt him very bad and I oftentimes wish it were as easy as oiling up the tin-man. Hope you feel better soon!
