Hello,

All your symptoms can be related to nuva ring use. NuvaRing is a contraceptive device. Like oral contraceptives ("The Pill"), it prevents pregnancy by providing a steady level of the female hormones estrogen and progestin. However, various side effects of using theses have been reported. It can cause nausea and vaginal inflammation and discharge. In some cases it has been associated with vaginitis and genital infections like candidiasis.

However nausea after eating can be due to gall bladder disease or acid reflux also.Gall bladder disease is quite common in females and it typically produces nausea and abdominal pain esp after eating. Eat small nutritious meals at frequent intervals instead of a heavy single meal. Exercise frequently and take your dinner atleast 2 hrs prior to bedtime. Also raise the head end of the bed by 2 blocks. To help control the stomach acid, one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them, or eat chocolate or spicy or greasy foods . For now, pls take some antacid like Maalox and Mylanta or OTC medications like zantac or prilosec.

Shift to some other birth control like condom for some days and see if the symptoms persist. If yes, then gall bladder disease and acid reflux and vaginal infections(bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis and Chlamydia)have to be ruled out.An evaluation by a physician and gynecologist and cervical swabs can help in confirming diagnosis.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.

Hello, my name is tee & im 20 also. I use to be on yasmin. i definatly would nor reccomend it after my symptoms and the things I read online. type it in google and u will know what I mean. Birth control will probably make u feel a little queezy until your body gets use to the hormone. remember it tricks your body into thinking your pregnant. MY new birth control levlen ed has made me feel a little off aswell. your vag is probably just cleaning itself after these foreign things ur puting into ur bod :)
u are probably also just ovulating, thats the white discharge.. soon it will turn clear :)
