Not sure what is going

For sometime now I have been having what I think is tension headaches. Pain in my left arm down my forearm and wrist. Lightheadness. It seems to be worse when I'm constipated and have gas. Not sure if it a problem with digestive system? I felt really tired the last few days with it also.

IBS makes since, I was diagnosed with IBS years ago. I've always had problems with stomach, one minute I'm consipated and next minute running to the bathroom. I seem to get the headaches when not going to the bathroom as well. The pains in the arm and other areas of the body happen when I have gas. Thanks

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
With pain in head, left arm, forearm and wrist, the first thing to be ruled out is a heart condition by a 12 lead EKG. Constipation and gas could be causing pressure on the heart. The other possibility is compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine and nerve conduction studies may be required. Please consult a neurologist. The treatment is to remove the compression. You have to discuss the best treatment option with a neurologist, which can range from medication to physiotherapy to traction, cervical collars or even surgery.
Another possibility is IBS with pain in arm being a pressure symptom of gas and headache too being an accompanying symptom. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

Sounds like a vascular problem vs a digestive problem.
