Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
These can also be symptoms of menopause. Hence get complete hormone panel with FSH, LH, estrogen, progesterone and prolactin. Also see if wearing neck and chest braces will help. Take care!

Dear Maxine,

I feel you.  Been there done all that and misdiagnosed for 10 years....

Please have your doctor check your calcium, PTH (parathyroid hormone level) and vitamin D level...two hour blood test, cheap, and quick.  High calcium and high PTH with low vitamin D = HPTH.

I was diagnosed with HPTH, Hyperparathyroidism .  This could also explain your scoliosis, and they fix it instead of searching for why you have it.... typical doctors, looking for a payday making a living off of treating symptoms.....errr, I'm a little pissed right now at all my doctors for missing my disease for years!

My hair fell out with both the HPTH and anesthesia drugs after each unnecessary surgery, and I have all the symptoms you are describing, every one of them.

For info on HPTH go to www.parathyroid.com   My surgery to correct this problem will only take 20 minutes with the M I R P.....get well soon and get diagnosed instead of treating symptoms...

Hope this helps,

Sincerely,
Lori

PS:  Dont get roped into believing its fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, or worse, depression...those drugs nearly killed me...seriously.
