PPD SKIN TEST

I just took a PPD Skin test in which they injected fluid in my left forearm and told me not to touch the area or get it wet for two days.

I'm not allowed to put a bandaid on the area
and its extremely hard not to touch something, meaning I cant wear long sleeves etc.

Im wondering  why I am not allowed to touch the area, and is an occasional accidental bump or brush against something okay?

They are looking for inflammation (redness) and swelling. So, they don't want you to scratch it or cause any swelling which would give a false positive. I wouldn't worry about long sleeves or brush against something. Try not to bump it. You would fine.
