SICK FOR 2 YRS NOW

I am 38 yrs old and 2 yrs ago I began with having a bad sinus infection and started having what seems to be an anxiety attack, I ended up in the emergency room several times with feeling like I have difficulty breathing and a feeling of death. Maybe 1 month into having the sinus infection I began having stomach problems which ended up having scope done to find out they did not see anything but after several meds they ended up putting me on 40mg Kapidex which solved my stomach issues, and then later had a ct scan of the sinuses to find out that all of them were blocked, 1 month after that I had a sinuplasty surgery to open them, I believed i would feel better but still as of today i am having to take xanax to partially keep me functional, i wake up feeling sick with sinuses pressure but feel as those they are draining constantly because i get the crackle sound in the back of my throat during breathing. What ever is going on with me is becoming more daily and I can hardly work or function. Dr's so far are just treating it all as anxiety but during these attacks my heart rate is not changing and my breathing is not rapid, i just feel as though I become short of breath and some light numbess in my arms and feel as though i will faint. I need any help as to what I need to do next as I am becoming unable to work and take care of daily chores. When attacks are happening I get intestinal type gases and shortness of breath and feeling faint.

Sinuplasty surgery sounds like a total bummer. I am 50 and have had sinus problem all my life and am allergic to everything but cats!...... Do you drink alcohol? Here is why I am asking these things; because coffee and alcohol take water from you system! Dehydration is a big deal, as I am finding out! My sinuses drain about a gallon a day. Do you still deal with draining during the day? The  xanax, that’s a tuff call! How long have you been on them? How many mg of xanax are you using a day and how long have you used them.

The first thing I would try is to drink a lot of water, not from the tap. About a gallon a day. This will hydrate you body. You lungs are 70% water ect…….I have had breathing problem that are almost gone since I started drinking water.

I would say that you do have an anxiety problem! But I doubt that, that’s the only problem that you are having!

I’m no Dr. but sometime I think that I could be one! What I mean by this is that Dr. are so disappointing.  They are trained to give you whatever!

I have plenty more to say, but will need update on xanax (a horrible drug)! I don’t want to bum you out. So I will give you the news slowly! Oh, also how about eating habits! Have you been to a allergist? Do you have health ins?...Don’t feel bad, I have been on valium for 10 plus years!

Start off by drinking a lot of water and we can go from there! I also found water to give me energy!
