Possible heart trouble

My husband is feeling slightly: light headed, short of breath, dizzy. He feels feverish and ill (like he has the flu), but his temperature is only 94 on one thermometer and 96 on another. He does not have chills, but he does have slight tightness and very slight pains in various places in the chest area, none in the jaw or through out the arms. Are these heart symptoms?

My husband went to a physician who sent him to the ER. Tests showed no heart problem, but he was given a Px for possible gum infection. Stress tests to be scheduled later.  Thanks for your answers

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The symptoms could be due to either heart problem like a heart attack or angina or they could also be due to severe acidity. The only way to know for sre is get a 12 lead EKG done immediately.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

In such case the best course of action would be to visit a health care professional right away, as all the symptoms you have described can be the results of possible heart complications.

Best wishes, John.
