i myself have acid reflux in which i had the surgery for, but i still hae some form of it, also have very bad sinus also and extremely bad post nasal drip. i find the nausea to be from your sinus draining into you stomach. sometimes when i get up in the morning, i am nauseated. try taking something as simple as pepermint, whether it be a life saver, pepermint star candy (circle and is red and white)or any form of pepermint candy that soothes my stomach and takes the nausea away. it works so well that when my girl friend gets a stomach ache she takes pepermint. now she swears by it. try it. there is no limit to how many you can eat, i usually eat 1 or 2 that calms my stomach down, but if you need to eat more do that, eventually you will know how many it will take to get your stomach back in order. i really don't leave home without them. i leave them in my car, purse, at work where ever i think i will be that's where i try to keep them. GOOD LUCK
From what I understand, many types of increased pressure in the head (ie sinus, ear infection) can cause equilibrium problems, as this function is maintained in the inner ears.
A remedy that I have found helpful for nausea is steeping 1 tsp ground ginger in 1 c. boiling water. It can be flavored with, honey, sugar, or tea, but I can almost guarantee that it will not taste good. As long as the nausea is not a result of a virus, like the flu, this remedy is usually successful.
If the dizziness is not related your other symptoms, it could be something like Vertigo.
i have had a stuffy/runny nose FOREVER and every morning when i'm brushing my teeth i feel like puking (i gag and 'puke' up air since there's nothing in my stomach) because of whatever is in the back of my throat.. nasal drip i guess. every single time i go for a check-up they tell me "your tonsils are red (red spots) and lymph nodes are slightly enlarged" of course they never write this stuff down. i dont feel sick like common cold sick, i'm just so used to it. i swear its a chronic sinus infection though. so annoying, i feel your pain
i was tested for vertigo by the ENT and my PP both said i did not have it. i strongly believe that is is a sinus problem from hell that i am just going to have to get use to. i just wondered if there were any others out there like me and any suggestions are greatly greatly appreiated
I think poor sinus drainage as a result of allergies can sometimes lead to inner ear blockage or infections which can throw off your equilibrium. I think sleepiness and fatigue can be caused by allergies too.
