Random sharp and concentrated pains throughout body

Since I was a teen, I have had these random sharp pains throughout various parts of my body that will occur in concentrated bursts of pain in a particular area for short periods of time. Sometimes pain will re-appear in the same area throughout the day and other times it will appear at seemingly unrelated part of my body. For example, it happened today and began with concentrated burst of pain half way up my inner left thigh. This pain would intensify which would cause me to wince in pain and then release and then repeat all over again every 5-10 seconds for about a minute. This pain did not radiate anywhere but only within a specific point. Then this same stabbing sensation occurred half way up to the first knuckle of my right middle finger about 30 minutes later. Then immediately following this finger pain I felt pain in my right foot at the joint of my middle toe. I have no idea what causes this and both of my siblings report similar type of pain issues. Friends think this is quite strange. As a teenager, everyone called these "growing pains" but I am 30 years old and don't believe this title still applies. Any ideas on possible causes? A friend of mine recommended acupuncture but of course I cringe at the thought of needles.

I can relate to every symptom on this page it seems as though all of the doctors I see think I am crazy. I am tired of the pain and I am tired of worrying about it. I am a mother of four and I just want to be healthy and happy for my  children just wish there was some cure or answer out there

Are you thinking Morgellons?  This could for sure be the result of all the symptoms posted here. I read that colloidal silver (The Strongest of it) is all that will get rid of them although I am a believer in the ****** Therapy for all cures I just don't know if anyones had it to try but it probably does work.God Bless all to be healed and have good health..."Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"....There's no sickness in heaven so I do believe we can conquer them all...Amen!!

Being an old farm girl myself, I liked your solution the best, but these stabbing pains are kind of getting to me!  I don't have migraines; have never gotten too stressed about much of anything; thought I was eating healthy; hadn't been to a doctor for years and now suddenly it feel like someone's got a voodoo doll "pinned" up with my body as the target!  Think I'll go breathe some fresh mountain air!  ~K

I think it is causes by mycoplasma infection cats carry it and so do ticks. Get tested for Lyme disease and its coinfections.
