Recurrent low grade fever/aches in legs - Please let me know what you think?

I posted a question last night about this but do not know if I did it right.  I have had a low-grade fever every night for 5 nights now that I have been keeping track of it ranging from 99.1 - 99.7 degrees.  I get a stabbing headache with it, it lasts a few hours and goes away.  I have been getting deep aches in my legs that no matter how much I much massage it doesn't seem to be deep enough to make it feel better - it seems to be worse in the lower half of my left leg.  It tingles (pins and needles) on and and off and has been for a few weeks.  I was supposed to get an ultrasound except I dont think it is a clot or anything as I would feel that wouldn't I?  I cancelled the appointment I had because I couldn't get away from work and I just think I needed an ultrasound for it. (I have had a PE before back in 2004 - hence the blood clot concern)  I did get Flexeril for muscle tension but have not filled it yet...I do tend to have that from time to time.  I have been stretching in hopes that it will help instead.  I don't want to take anymore pills.  I do take meds for Epilepsy, right now I take topomax and Garbapentin daily (Topamax is the primary). I have been on various meds for a sz disorder that returned in 1996.  I am tiring easily, not wanting to eat too much and I have enlarged lymph node on my neck and along jawline.  The only ones tender are the ones along my jaw.  When I was in last week for my neuro checkup I usually have bloodpressure readings of around 110 - 115/ 60ish.  I noted it had dropped down to 84/56.  I asked the girl to check it again because that was too low - so she did, (maybe that is why I am so tired lately?) and it was the same.  I can easily correct that with eating more salt right?  Something isn't right, I know I have thrown out a bunch of things...can you help me out at all please?  I will take the medicine suggested if it needed, I just want to make sure i really need it.  I have felt in the past that there are times when I have been prescribed medicine and tests that I didn't really need, that is why I am here asking these questions.
Thank you.

Allergies cannot give you a fever, but they can make you feel feverish. Low BP, severe headaches, recurrent fevers, swollen & especially tender lymph node glands, allergies --- can all go along with CFS. If your physician hasn't done labwork on you for autoimmune diseases, I would suggest that and also ask your physician to do orthostatics on you a couple of times. Another thing that can cause muscle aches is food intolerances and/or food allergies.

Do you ever have heart palpitations ? If so, definitely have your physician do orthostatics several times on you and check into CFS.

Good luck... if you can, keep us posted ! And don't give up in your search !

You have muscle aches instead of joint pain, correct ? Are you dizzy ? Do you have unrefreshing sleep ? Any allergies ?

Yes - deep muscle aches. The shin bone hurts when I press on it (there is a muscle along it I assume).  I have had allergies in the past...a couple of years ago since I have suffered from them though.  I thought that it might be those too.  Usually with those I get a stuffy nose that doesn't go away, watery eyes, and congestion that sometimes transitions into a sinus thing.  While I am getting a little congested at night - I don't have any other symptoms of allergies. I am answering another posting that I made further down about other symptoms.  Maybe allergies is all it is..and the muscle thing is something else...you can get recurrent fever with allergies right?  Thanks again.

The pains in my legs have been recurrent - I have been given muscle relaxers for them on and off (baclofen, flexeril, etc) over the past three years.  The fever is new - again last night - but not as high.  I find I am drinking additional amounts of coffee which I shouldn't be doing as I had a couple of stomach ulcers 6 months ago!  I always drink it - but I feel I need it just to stay functional!!  I have always known that the sz meds are hard on my body - my blood work gets nutty (on low side normal platelets from Dilantin - a red blood cell count that gets high sometimes...) so I just deal with it. I have tested for HIV, Hep C and all of those kinds of things recently and all neg (within the last year).  I am in the clear.

Thank you for your interest, I really appreciate any input that might shed some light.
