Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It is difficult to comment without examination. Lump behind the ear could be an abscess, folliculitis (hair follicle infection), lipoma (localized collection of fat), a cyst, an inflamed lymph node or a neurofibroma (localized harmless swelling in of nerve and connective tissue). Your daughter may not be sick but local infections like dandruff or a dermatitis too can cause a lymph node to swell. Please check with her pediatrician once.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
could be glands, but where there is a lump i say go get it checked out
Point them out to her pediatrist at your next visit. I have a small lump behind my right ear that my doctor told me was something that made white blood cells. I've had it my whole life without any complications. Maybe its the same thing. If the lumps seem to be swelling it could be her lymph nodes swelling due to an infection of some kind.
