Strange Symptoms

I am 65, have had bypass surgery '96, stints in both renal arteries '05, bilateral carotid arteries done, last one in December.
Nine days ago, in the evening, I started uncontrolled chilling, ran a 100.3 temp, and my ears were ringing. Two hours into these symptoms, I had 'liquid dirrhea'.Fever and chills only lasted 4 hours.     Felt fine the next nine days, absolutly no problems. Then tonight, I started the uncontrolled chilling, temp 101.4, ears ringing loudly. again this lasted only about a 4 hour period. Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated. This is getting a little scary.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I also have type 2 Diabetes. Maybe this has some bearing on the strange symptoms. These episodes come on rapidly, I have no warning. I just start chilling for no reason, and it lasts 4 hours, then I am fine the next day.
I told my children that maybe I just had a few 'wires crossed' since I have a few inside. LOL
Would appreciate any thoughts.
Thank you
