Fallen arches, maybe? I have foot pain a lot, too. It's horrible. I have to keep my shoes on for some support. I would never recommend any sort of pain killers. I would recommend a podiatrist if your gp doesn't have a sufficient answer. You need the cause, not a band aid to mask the pain.
Could be nuropathy.. I have major feet burning achy pain with nothing making it better. I can't handle shoes or socks on my feet at times.
Hello~I am sorry you are having these issues, it is no fun to have foot pain.
I am thinking that maybe the pain is due to the way you either slept or sat, maybe your foot was in an odd position, however, the pain should not be lasting if that is the case.
You may also have dislocated some bones in your foot, there are many little ones in the feet and you may have dislocated some. I suggest seeing a podiatrist or even a chiropractor as he/she can actually adjust the foot and areas around it. You may need an x-ray as well to see what is going on. I hope you get relief soon.
