Sudden fatigue and muscle/joint pain

Thank you in advance for anyone that can offer any insight.

I have not felt "healthy" for almost 2 years now.  My most recent issue is that yesterday and today I have woke very fatigue after having a good nights sleep.  It is to the point that I feel that my eyes are being held open and if I shut them, they feel like they are stuck to my eyeballs.  I know that description sounds weird, but that is what it feels like.  I equate it with being up for 24 hrs.  I also noticed when I was walking up/down the stairs in my house muscles and joints in my leg hurt.  This seems to be worse today because it is not just on the stairs.  I had noticed some hip pain before this, but didn't think too much about it.  About a month ago I had some pain in my forearm and found a lump, was told it was a cyst and not to worry.  I have also had back and flank pain for a while.  This follows a year of being unhealthy an vomiting every day for that year.  I have been on Cymbalta for over a year, and don't feel depressed, so I don't think that is what it is.  Any ideas.  I don't even have a Dr. that I trust to go to anymore.  I have been through so much and non seem to listen to me.  I am starting to feel like I am just crazy, but I know how I feel. I know my body hurts and I am feeling as if I have to force myself through my day.  I don't want to feel this way, but don't know where to turn for help.

Thank you, my vomiting hasn't been chronic for about a year.  I only have bouts of it a few times a month.  I am just worried that because the cause was never found, whatever it was is progressing.  my legs have pain, like they are getting weak or something.  If I sleep on my back, it hurts so bad it is hard to roll over and I wake very tired.  The biggest problem is I don't have a Dr I can trust.  I lost faith when I had my year long illness and I couldn't find help or even a Dr. that seemed to be worried about me.  All labs have always been "normal" for me for the most part.  My ALB levels were borderline (3.7), but that was in April of 09 and I don't and (4.1) in 09/09.  I haven't had blood work done in a while.  Oh, well, I guess ignorance is bliss.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Commonest cause of chronic nausea and vomiting is acidity. Take omeprazole (empty stomach in morning) and antacid gel and see if it helps. Liver and kidney dysfunction is another cause. Hence kidney and liver function tests should be done. Other causes are diabetes and hypothyroidism. Electrolyte imbalance too can cause nausea. IBS, gluten or lactose intolerance, parasites in gut too can be the cause. A stool test should be done for worms, giardiasis etc. Also if nothing is found then food challenge test to detect food intolerance should be done.
Persistent vomiting can cause electrolyte disturbance, dehydration and metabolic disturbance resulting is symptoms you are feeling. Please discuss this with your treating doctor. Hope this helps. Take care!
