Sulphuric/ Eggy burps and stomach cramps

I found the above  topic last night at this same forum, though its dated 6 yrs back and I couldnt find anything more recent as I was searching for an answer to my own problem of the foulest burps that ever existed, then comes the diarhea and finally the vomitting. For me this can last up to two or three days. I was so relieved to find that other people have and are experiencing these same symptoms. Though im worried that no one has found and answer, maybe they have, as I said, the only forum I found for this is on this web site and its 6 yrs old. Im hoping someone has some new answer to this same problem. Its dibilitating when it happens, hard to go to work while im busy crapping and puking myself to half to death. Again, the burps are the absolute worst, those alone taste so bad its enough to make me sick and the sulphuric smell is just awful. Really its like im farting out my mouth. Hopefully after 6 yrs someone has some kind of real answer to this problem.

Thk you.

There is something called a 'stomach seizure'  its a neurological disorder which effects the stomach causing internal convulsions of the stomach...this can be mild or very severe.  All of the symptoms posted here fit the criteria.  I'm not saying all of u have this... But its a definite possibilty for some of you suffering this affliction.  Go to a neurologist, discuss the possibility with him or her and ask for an eeg and a sonogram.   You might just need to take a simple pill per day...  Or it may be more serious...either way...its with a shot.   Celiac disease is also a possible cause of this, also an allergy to a certain type of spicey food product might possibly be the cause.  If you are on any type of serious medication, like neurological medicines or medicines for cancer or HIV/AIDS, they have a history of causing these types of symptoms.

I have had it twice in the previous week, both after having a large amount of food just before i go to bed, so that may be a possible cause, also, I have found pinching  your nostrils with your fingers will allow you to not taste the burps at all until you unpinch your nostrils (pinching so that your nostrils are blocked), it isn't much but it takes the primary disgusting taste away.

I have been under an incredible amount of stress lately ... most of it stemming for all that comes with dealing with life and grief with my 5 children after my husband died very unexpectedly almost 4 years ago. I have a sty, which I have not had in probably 15 years. The eye Dr started me on antibiotics about 24 hours ago. Now I am having those nasty burps, gurgling guts, flatulence and that horrible stomach pain. I stopped taking the meds because I just can't stand the burps. I remember getting these when I was in High School. I can't remember what I did to get rid of them, but I wish I would just vomit than to keep burping every few minutes ... its about gagging me. I think I am dehydrated too, just from the hot weather and not drinking enough water. I am debating if a glass of water would help, but I am terrified that it is going to make it worse. All this just exacerbates the stress and symptoms ... Ugh ... its so bad, I wish someone would just rip my guts out and make it stop!!!  Father's Day without my husband, my dad, or any of my or my husband's grandfathers is bad enough ... these burps and this gas is just too much ... just make it STOP!!!!!  YUCK.. GAG!!!!

I am currently experiencing something si
similar.
I think I got food poisoning 3days ago, causing me to vomit violently with diarrhoea. A couple of days on and I have these most disgusting eggy burps. I guess that the balance of my stomach has been upset which is causing this. I have had it before, and its a disgusting sense that whatever us going in my stomach is just fermenting.
I came online now to see what I could access easily because its a long bank holiday and most of the shops are shut. I am currently trying health salts that you can get cheaply from the supermarket, but I'm not sure of the results yet - other than a laxative effect which it does say can be expected on the tin. However, I was given some Carbo Veg homeopathic stuff a few days ago, and that did give immediate relief of symptoms then. So I will try and get some of that when the shops open. I will try a '6c' first.
