Swollen Lymph Nodes???

I had Mono when I was 20 years old, and have had a couple of lymph nodes that remained swollen under my left armpit for 9 years. They feel like they are the size of a bb. Possibly a bit smaller than that. I do not currently have any other symptoms that seem unusual to me. Is this normal? I have no pain in the area.

The health issues I do have are: IBS, allergies and low blood pressure. My heartrate tends to spike past it's limit from exercises like running. Also I have had surgery to correct my bite just over a year ago.

I started my B-12 with a boost of vitamin C Monday, and I have to say it is helping. I feel some more energy and I use as much as I can. I am also going to get the Amino Acids(Lysine) I remember this routine worked for me once before. I believe this disease is best worked my an overlaod of vitamins being that Dr's say there is no cure. Does anyone else find these Vitamins to work?

I believe this virus cause more problems than we know. I am just amazed that at this stage in medical technology we cannot find some cure for viruses. This virus seems to be more common than we know. I find that alot of people over the age of 25 has come into contact with this virus. I have never been as aware of these virus until I contracted it. Epstein is mentally draining as well as physical. My body jusy doesn't seem to let me do the things I used to. I started taking B-12 complex again, hopefully this will help out.(=

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
In a person infected with infectious mononucleosis the EBV remains dormant in cells in the throat and blood for the rest of the person's life. Periodically, the virus can reactivate without symptoms of illness and can be found in the saliva of infected persons. EBV can also result in lifelong dormant infection in some cells of the body's immune system and this is why probably the welling in lymph nodes persists.
You can consult your doctor regarding this. An EBV antibody status may be required.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
