Swollen labia, blisters and weird patchlike yellow-white sores on labia. Herpes?

So I'm a little confused. Here's the story:
About a week or so ago I got a little cut on the left side of my labia majora. Nothing major, these things happen. So I let it go and about..egh 5 days later my left gland in my groin started to hurt but I had no idea why. The next day little red bumps appeared on my labia which developed into sores the next day. I went to the doctor the day after (which was Monday) because by that time it had become very swollen on one side and the sores were very painful. I also noticed this almost patchlike yellow-white sores that were on the inside of my left labia. I thought it was discarged or something but I couldn't get it off so I went to the doctor. She checked and said I don't think it could be anything for herpes So she took a sample and sent it off for testing. I find out Friday if it's positive or not but herpes doesn't sound plausible.
I've currently been with my boyfriend for a little over a year and he has been my only partner ever. He has been checked about 2 years ago for any STDs because they thought his cancer was an STD. They were wrong. But they said he was clean and he hasn't been with anyone since Maybe it was transfered that way? He has never had an cold sores or any bumps, etc. The odd thing is that the first bump was on the cut and then it seemed to spread. All the patch-like yellow-white things are around the cut and they hurt badly and ooze.

Any ideas as to what this is? Did the cut allow me to have an outbreak or something? Can anything help to ease the discomfort because it KILLS to walk and sit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability you had some infection either fungal or bacterial vaginosis that infected the cut. The yellowish white sores are normal findings in an infection. Generally it is treated by local and oral antibiotics and anti inflammatories. Also check your diabetes status because the presence of high sugar makes infection easier. What goes more in favor of this diagnosis is that you have fever and chill and the area is swollen and painful. Please consult your doctor and start the treatment for infection.
The chances of STDs like Herpes cannot be totally ruled out and you have already taken the test. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
