Strange Symptoms

About a month ago I decided to sleep earlier than usual one day and ended up waking up with numb hands, arms, and legs. The numbness is mostly in my legs but is also found throughout my body. This reduced sensation hasn't stopped yet. When I went to the doctor, the doctor said it was likely stress but gave a blood test to be sure. Based on the blood test, I learned that I was vitamin d deficient, however, taking the supplements didn't really help. Now, I'm also experiencing an inability to feel sleepy, a weak voice in the afternoon, and muscle twitches. Anyone have any ideas as to what this is? Btw I'm a 17 yr old male who is stressed out often.

Hello~Your doctor is right about stress being a contributor to the symptoms you are having.  I would continue to take the Vitamin D, it does not work overnight, also, add a good, multi-mineral supplement to your diet, you could also be low on magnesium and potassium.

Numbness can also be caused by impinged nerves, I suggest seeing either an osteopath or chiropractor and telling them what is happening, they may be able to help.
