please help

About a year and a half ago I posted about my now 18 year old daughter. She was having severe constipation and was found to have colonic pseudo obstruction. In August she had a total colectomy with an anastomosis between the small intestine and rectum. Since then she is still having severe abdominal pain, nausea, and even some constipation. We have found ourselves making many doctor's office visits, ER trips, and hospital admissions but no one has an answer for the pain. She is also experiencing extreme fatigue, light headedness,   shortness of breath, hot flashes, and rash. She spends a lot of time in the bed feeling terrible and we don't know what to do anymore. If anyone has been through this or has any suggestions, we would greatly appreciate it.

I've had intestinal issues for most of my life. I'm sensitive to certain foods. I only just found in the last 3-6months a powder that I have in my V-8 Fusion every morning.(there's no flavor) it's called Jarrow Formulas L-Glutamine USP Grade. I found it at Super Supplements. It has helped me tremendously. You don't have to take my word for it. it's easy to find to research it. My heart goes out to your daughter. I KNOW it HURTS. (((HUGS))) hope this helps. :-)

Looking only at the life style changes that could help. I would first see that the medication she is taking is not causing some of her symptoms.  Secondly keeping her mobile and free from constipation by diet control could help.  Try giving stewed apricots and custard as a sweet after her dinner. See she gets enough fruit and vegetables. She must definitely NOT take harsh medication for constipation,( that will give her a lot of pain).only use a stool softener.  I hope this may help.
