Undetected illness. Swelling in leg along with being redish blackish

Respected Madam/sir,
My grandmother is of 80 years old. The following symptoms she has been suffering from the last 40 years- swelling in one leg, no cramps , leg turning reddish blackish in colour, difficulty in walking, increase in the size of the leg and also accompanied with fever sometimes. All the tests have been done but nothing substantial or evident came of them and all the treatments have been tried already but still of no avail and these symptoms come and go many times in a year. Thank you very very much for having answered my question and for helping me thank you again!

This sounds like a genetic predisposition I can't recall the name i think it is but if it's that treatment is mostly keep comfortable. Lotion and if it's a build up of fluid, and most likely is, drain fluid may be an option. Id advise seeing a genealogist.
