Unusual bleeding

First post here so if this is in the wrong category let me know (didn't see menstral category) ty.
26yo female
My periods usually only last 3-4 days. My last one lasted a full seven days and was heavier than usual. It stopped for two days during which I had intercourse with my boyfriend. Now, after those two days I've started bleeding heavily and cramping again. I've also noticed some clots as well. I don't know if I should go to Dr or just see what happens. I have had light spotting a couple months ago between periods, but not as heavy as this.

Yes, probably is hormones. I recently had 2 periods in one month, didn't enjoy that lol. I've personally found that supplementing with iodine helps me be regular. I'd suggest you do some research about it, some people say you shouldn't take it on your own but I haven't had any serious bad effects, only positives. For more info you can check out Dr. Brownstein's site, Dr. Jorge Flechas, maybe underground wellness and mark's daily apple (they're probably more oriented toward eating or not eating certain foods).

I'm having similar problems, it's always best to mention any abnormal bleeding to your doctor.   I've been bleeding practically every day since January, it's very annoying. Sometimes heavy sometimes hardly anything.  Do  go to yours docs. I'm sure it's just hormones but best to find out x
