For the past several months I've been having a variety of symptoms which didn't seem to add up to anything. It began in late April when I had an odd feeling like something was stuck in my throat. Then I had trouble swallowing--no pain, but food would feel like it was stuck in my throat for hours after I'd eaten. Since then, I've had random feelings of numbness/tingling, extreme fatigue, a strange burning sensation in my upper back and both of my arms (it feels like a sunburn and hurts when I touch my skin or even wear clothes). During this time I've also had what seemed like random tender spots on my body and a terrible pain in my neck, upper back and chest--I thought this was due to my poor posture and went to see a chiropractor, but the issues persisted, and I've since realized that these tender/sore spots aren't random at all, but that they were my lymph nodes. Sometimes I would get deep throbbing pain in some of these areas (next to my ears, on either side of my neck, behind my head and where my neck joins with my shoulders) but otherwise there's a tenderness to all of my lymph nodes, including chest, armpits, elbows, and groin. I've also found that simple actions feel like running a marathon--just putting my clothes on in the morning makes my heart start racing and I get out of breath. I've been to the emergency room three times and I've had two EKGs and two chest x-rays as well as a urinalysis, all of which came back normal. I've had no fever or night sweats, no coughing or cold symptoms.
