numb tongue after using Nerium

I have been using the Nerium face cream product for about 6 days.  I noticed that some may have gotten into my mouth as I had applied the cream close to my lips.  You leave this cream on overnight ... during the night I drank water and believe this is how it got into my mouth.  I have since stopped applying the cream anywhere near my mouth and feel as if the tingling/numbness has lessened, but my lack of taste is still there.  Anyone else experienced this side effect of Nerium?

Do not use this cream.
I have read that the Nerium cream's second listed ingredient is Nerium Oleander leaf.

Nerium Oleander is a very beautiful evergreen conservatory and Mediterranean shrub.  All parts of the plant are highly toxic when ingested.

As you accidentally licked the cream this has caused a reaction on your tongue.  You may like to have a chat with doctor about this, but hopefully your sensation of taste will return in time.

Zinc can restore sense of taste in many situations.  Hope it helps you.  - it does sound like a sensitivity reaction to the cream.  You may have to buy a different night cream... take the jar with you to the store and make sure it doesn't contain the same ingredients...  especially the chemicals.  I had a reaction to Hydroxatone.  Made my face itch and peel...
