Why am unable to adjust to temperature changes often have related hyperhidrosis?

I have been unable to tolerate going from one temperature environment to another for about 7 years. I will sweat profusely and feel like I am overheating when I walk into a store from outside during winter. I used to be saturated from these sweats, dripping all over the floor and surroundings. I would also sweat profusely when going outside briefly to get the mail - but the sweating and misery often started after coming inside to air conditioning.

My symptoms have progessed over these last few years to where I am almost incapacitated daily - just sitting inside in air conditioning.
I alway seem to feel like I am either boiling hot (with red face) or freezing cold where the skin on my arms is very cold has terrible sensations. I have to wrap up my arms most of the time while indoors for relief.

I can not go outside when I am already feeling overheated because the heat/warmth is so much more unbearable. I start sweating to the point that every fiber in my clothing is saturated within one hour. I change and am saturated again one hour later.

Also, when it is in the 50°s outside, I am cold, but begin to feel very hot in my core and start sweating heavily there and on my head/neck. I am unable to cope very ling with being both very cold and very hot at same time.

The main symptom all day every day indoors is that I alternate between very hot and very cold. For example, I go to bet at night freezing and no amount of blankets will help. I try to use much cover because I will always wake up overheated and it takes me 30-60 minutes to cool down.
I radiate a great deal of heat and my flesh is very hot, so I will get painfully hot with something over me. However, I MUST cover up because I alternate with being painfully cold. My arms are the worst for the cold skin and my core is worst for the high heat.
Thank you for any guidance.
I have been to an endocrinologist and she ran a lot of tests without finding anything.
My symptoms of feeling majoirly overheated become 10x worse with medications such as promethazine and hydroxyzine - which both make me sweat profusely. I recently was unable to tolerate simple antibiotics because it was excruciating to feel like i was internally on fire and my skin was burning where anything touched it.

Note - the only medication I take are propanolol, allegra, baclofen, and a prn opiate for chronic pain.

Hello~I was going to suggest seeing an endocrinologist to have your thyroid thoroughly checked, but I see you have already done this. It really sounds like a form of hyperthyroidism to me however. I would maybe seek another opinion in this case.

I would ask the pharmacist if the medication you are currently taking could be contributing to the issue you are having.

I hope you get the help you need soon.
