blood in saliva

I have recently been experiencing the taste of blood in my mouth.  When I spit out, I am seeing traces of blood.  I had chest x-rays that came out clear.  I saw an ear nose throat doctor who checked my nose and throat and saw nothing except excess mucous.  He prescribed a nasal spray for me.  I have been using it for about two weeks now, and am still seeing and tasting the blood.  I am also experiencing some pressure in my throat.  Any suggestions on who to see or what could be going on?

d. Alliviated pressure when coughing I bleed in similar fashion.

It seems bleeding is caused by alleviated pressure when body is subjected to extreme pressure, blood rises to brains which causes bleeding thru the mouth like a nose bleed.

Any ideas internists?

I have high blood pressure for around 10yrs already and controlled with bp maintenance drugs and I am fine with my bp. The past last month, I am feeling taste of blood in my mouth seems like when you have a nose bleed feeling. The tastes happen often with very light shade on my spit but not really bothering me. Whats bothering me is I spit some blood after any of the following.
a. Right after climax during masterbation.
b. If I exceed too much pressure holding my breath while taking a bowel movement.
c. Feels the blood in my mouth when I put my head down too long.

This happens all the time if I exert too much pressure and since blood goes up to our head when we exert a lot of pressure, I am thinking it is cause by that.

What seems to be the problem. My doctor does not know either.

When i wake, my spit is bloody. I have to rinse several times before I brush, then after brushing, more bloody saliva. I don't believe its just my gums because my initial spit is bloody before I brush. May 27th I broke my nose. Could that have anything to do with it? Also, I swallowed some listerine trying to gargle. Could THAT have anything to do w/ it?

Nobody here has mentioned snoring or sleep apnea.  How many of you that are waking to bloody drool, snore?  My husband snores so badly, his uvula gets swollen.  He drools blood as well. Mouth breathing and snoring dries out the tonsils and tissues and then rattles them.  The Blood in his spit disappeared when he lost 30 pounds and cured his sleep apnea that way.
