chest pain?

Within the last week or so, I've been getting sharp pains within my left arm. This usually happens when I bend it a certain way or put pressure on it. In addition I've also been getting a "heavy" feeling on my left side of my chest where the heart is located. It's not painful, and it's not hard to breathe but I know this can't be good right? I recently had this "heavy" feeling about a few minutes ago, and is why I am creating this question. I tried to feel my heart beat during this instance and it was low, or I just put my hand in the wrong spot. I do have Pectus excavatum, and I am wondering if this is the reason why I'm having these "discomforts"? I haven't had this feeling in all my life. Comments and details are much appreciated, Thank you!

I use to get the pain there as well plus under the rib cage. My doctor told me it was on how I'm sitting. If you dont sit proper it will cause pains in those areas. Make sure you sit with both feet on the floor, back straight.   But I would still ask your doctor just to be on the safe side. Including when it has to do with your. heart.

I would see a doctor to rule out heart problems, otherwise it's likely muscular. Its best to see a doctor and not dx yourself. I am currently suffering from costochritis.
