constant dizziness for 2 years

I have been dizzy now for 2 years-
Not a spinning dizzy, but a lightheadded foggy feeling from the time I wake up until I go to bed.
Each morning I hope I will wake up and it will be gone, the same way it started.  I have been to every kind of doctor and have had every test, twice.  All tests come back normal..
I even thought it may be associated with cell phone use, so I used the speaker on the phone for a week, but no change.  I tried anti depressants, klonapin, no change.  Vision is blurry, went to eye doctor, got glasses, but they really don't help the blurriness.  Hard to explain. Light headed at the gym  when I lift weights, weak feeling, can't exercise as vigorously as I would like.  ANyone have a solution?
Is there a clinical study for people like me where we can compare things we do , eat , where we live ( cell phone towers?) It seems so many people have this- where can we get help?

Hello,

First and foremost, regular estimation of blood sugar is important as hypoglycemia can lead to dizziness. Also get your blood pressure monitored as orthostatic hypotension due to sudden decrease in systolic BP can also cause dizziness.

Sometimes, there are partial or complete blockages in the arteries that supply the brain with blood.  These blockages can cause a temporary loss of blood flow (called transient ischemic attack, or TIA for short), or permanent loss of blood flow (called stroke; also called cerebrovascular accident). This can lead to impaired blood flow through these arteries and so dizziness.

Ear infections and other causes like Meniere’s disease or inner ear diseases can lead to dizziness. If there is any ear pain or tinnitus along with then it may be the possibility.Pls get yourself evaluated for that. Some other causes of dizziness are dehydration, anemia, infections, endocrine disorders like thyroid, adrenal glands, and pituitary gland disorders, anxiety and panic attacks Blood pressure medications, sedatives, tranquilizers, antidepressants, pain relievers and some antibiotics can also cause dizziness.Cervical spondolysis, vertebrobasilar insufficiency and carotid sinus syndrome can also cause dizziness.

Get your blood sugar evaluated and an ECG done.CT head and neck are also useful. The choice of treatment will depend on the diagnosis.

Pls consult a physician to find the causative factor as treatment will depend on the same.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how your husband is doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
