Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Abdominal and pelvic surgeries often cause adhesions and these make the pain unbearable. Diagnosis is only by laproscopy. Late stage of cancer also is very debilitating and so also side effects of cancer drugs. All cancer centers have pain management clinics and you must consult one. Take care!
Hello. The recoup of the surgeries and the chemo are pulling your body down. Rectal surgery is one of the most painful surgeries you can have, there are a lot of nerves and vessels back there that were damaged during surgery. It is not uncommon when receiving treatment with chem to feel absolutely horrible.
Hopefully before too long they can get you into remission and you will start getting your energy back and get your pain under control. Please don't hesitate to let your doctor know how you feel and that you are experiencing frequent pain that isn't allowing you to be able to rest. With the chemo making you feel so sick and tired being able to rest is very important to prevent you from feeling even worse.
Good Luck and God Bless
Chemotherapy is not only killing your bad cells but also your good cells, damaged has been done to your body and the effects are maybe like what is happening to you, surgeries open your body to bacteria, and you should wash them away... eat lots of fruits and veggies (not cook), drink lots of water(specially alkaline), do not drink sodas, do not eat food with preservatives, but I know it's hard to choose what is not preservatives, try to lessen your meat, junk foods and sweets, drink a glass of water before you sleep... try this everyday, maybe it will help you day by day...
