You know, when I was 14 I had so many unknown aches and pains. I was always sure they were cancer or some exotic disease. But now that I'm a mom of a 13 year old, I know that being a growing kid just is kind of painful.
But that said, the Mom thing is kind of important. WIthout someone there to look at it, it is hard to know whether you need to go to the pediatrician or not. Your mom or dad needs to make that decision. And sometimes, as a mom, I still take my kids to the doctor and find out it's nothing. But it's better to be safe than sorry.
(the random pain under the breastbone is usually just gas bubbles, I got them all the time. but still, tell your parents.)
Maybe you're dehydrated. It can take a lot out of you. The symptoms can be overwhelming. Keep drinking fluids, even if you're not dehydrated. Drink something with sugar to help retain water. It's hard to say what it could be going on in your body. It may be something unexpected. Has anything changed recently? Stress levels, food, medication?
Hello eled:
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. Many things can cause the discomfort you are feeling. Your symptoms are very vague. Make sure that your Parents are aware of all your symptoms. They may want to seek medical attentiont for you. Always tell them what's going on with your health. Never keep them in the dark about your symptoms.
My best,
Mollyrae
