On an aside, I was told by a neurologist that morphine is a bad choice for migraine pain, doesn't work well. Your doctor rsaid they ruled out menigitis (meningitis), but did he/she do an MRI of your neck? I'm wondering if you have a pinched nerve in your neck? Those top two cervicle discs are so important for the headache situation, so I would ask for a scan. I had a migraine where they did a spinal tap to check for meningitis once in my life... I didn't have it and it's not a fun test. They didn't base it on the no fever.
Hi
Welcome to the forum!
There is a chance that you have compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine may be required. Please consult a neurologist.
This could have been the reason for your headache.
Hope this helps. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
it turns out it was viral meningitis. those er doctors were terrible and repeatedly dissmised me. it was the spine doc who gave me the mri that disscovered it was viral. he was very irtated that nobody even bothered to give me a blood test to see. my god those mri are long and loud, i hope i never have to do that again, and ive had the virus for 2 weeks now and its just starting to go away.
