fever/swollenglands/boyaches/fatigue/shortness of breath/chills/sweats

My 19 yr old daughter was achy last week and had dark urine. She had swollen glads on her neck after that. They are going down now however she is tired, has chills and sweats & has problems taking deep breaths. The doctors took blood yesterday but haven't heard back yet. She says that she drinks alot of water but now it is at the point that it doesn't taste good and food isn't appealing either. She is normally an active athletic child but now even if she can get a good nights sleep she feels drained again within a few hours. She is getting ready to go back to college and I would like to find out what this is before then. Any suggestions if the test comback negative?

She was diagnosed with Mono this morning. All the symptoms  are the same as dehydration which she may also have. At least we know the problem and she needs to rest and drink plenty of fluids and can hopefully get back to her active lifr.

Babesiosis is a tick-borne blood disease that is caused by protozoan parasites.

Symptoms include high fever, chills, diaphoresis (sweats), weakness, anorexia and headache.
Dark urine is caused by the breakdown of red blood cells.
