head is hot but no sunburn, no fever

I went hiking today and I wore a sunhat that didn't seem breathable. Now I'm trying to go to bed, but my head is hot -- but I don't have a sunburn, or a temperature. I put a cold washcloth on my face, but it didn't cool down my head. It feels like the heat is trapped in my head and is not escaping.......I really hope this is a temporary thing, obviously. I'm sure no one is going to be able to answer this tonight but I thought I would ask anyway.......

If you don't have a fever - don't be worried.... sometimes it takes awhile for sunburn to come out and it always feels worse at night...I am sure it will be a temporary thing
