heart / blood pressure

I am having what seems to be blood pressure issues, getting off the couch I pass out on the floor, it starts out as felling short of breath my arms legs become tingly i get a cold feeling all over and feels like my body is shaking from having no control over my muscles and my tongue also becomes tingly and feels like it has swollen (it hasn't just a feeling) than i say a firm hi to the floor it has started to become very frequent and i don't need to be moving for it to happen just standing or sitting. When I was at the table with a friend the other day she said my face went red my eyes started to roll back into by head plus i felt all the other symptoms . i have changed my diet and increased my water but hasn't help even a little. it is becoming dangerous as i have two young children one is 4 mths old and i have almost fainted while holding her. here comes the tricky part i also have complete heart block, a pacemaker, my right heart pump works at what my cardiologist says to be weak to moderate and its backwards. this isn't a new problem from having my daughter it has been happening for a while and i haven't wanted to say it to my drs ( i know stupid) but i am scared they will say ok time to go under the knife AGAIN.  but im putting on my big girl pants and asking for help i have a drs apt tomorrow and want to know how to deal with them saying its just blood pressure cause i think its more

It sounds like you have been through all the tests and they are on top of it. I have heard many say the same thing about the bad side effects of the beta blockers. I hope they can figure it out so you will feel better.
take care, and keep us posted if you find anything out and/or just want to ask any more questions.

hi I have echo's every 6-12 months I only had one 2mths ago after the birth of my daughter, and there was no change in any thing, my gp has ordered a another round of bloods, and my cardiologist is a very good and I do trust him but  im going to make an appt with my other cardiologist as they deal in different parts but work together so maybe together two smart brains can work it out.

I have had betta blockers before but didn't respond well to them with headaches and being very tired.

oh well I guess I just deal with it for a bit longer until someone can work me out.

I know you didn't send the message to me but I wanted to say that some times with the 24 hour monitor they don't catch the arrhythmia and if you try again maybe they will. They found one on me but I was lucky it was benign PAC's. I hear they have a new ultrasound for checking the percentage of blockage instead of being so invasive. I don't know how many places have it though. It does sound like an arrhythmia. If you haven't had one done perhaps a echocardiogram just to look for structural problems?
take care,

one again the answer is to go on another monitor and see if it can record anything. he sugested it may be nerological to go back to gp and mention his thoughts about that. feeling a little lost on what to do.

I have been SOOOO many times to the hospital and the cardio they can NEVR catch it happening I have worn so many monitors and they put it down to blood pressure. I went to my gp yesterday and while I was there had a " episode" which she could clearly see I want right said when she listened and felt my rate I was having three or four weak heart beats followed by a thumping one but my rate was steady. got a cardio apt in one hour  lets see if I can convince them there is something wrong.

You require urgent medical attention.

Since it has been 20 hours since you posted, I trust that you have now been seen by the medical profession.

Best wishes.

My friend you have to go in to your cardiologist right away or go to the ER. You know this needs to be taken care of. It could be tachycardia, or related to your heart block. It also could be the pacemaker is too slow. But, you need to get in there and that means now. Ok? Just do it! Get those big girl pants on and go in!
