I am so very sorry to hear these disturbing signs. I don't know either, I noticed no one has replied but was your doctor a specialist? I would go to a nurologist it sounds like those kind of symptoms to me, I'm no doctor but that is exactly what I would do. Please keep me informed I truly want to know what you find out. God Bless you and good luck. They will find out what it is so try to keep good thoughts.
hi there, i am a 29 yr old female...i have some of the same symptoms...tingling, numbness, weakness, unbalanced days, bug crawling sensation...
in addition, i get feelings of elastic band sensation around leg, arm, etc.
I have a neurologist, sent me for mri's, eeg's, ekg's, etc...everything normal
the only thing he said is where my spine at the top...most people curve at the top of their spine, where mine is straight, and i have a few bulging discs in my back, but he said it was all very minor....that was over a yr ago, still no real answers for me, and its frustrating...many days you sit there wondering if something really serious and deadly is going on, or if its just a nerve problem or anxiety...
i wish you luck, and go get a nerve test done...its sticky and gross, but they can rule out many things!
these all are mostly come due stress and not enough blood.
nothing to worry. just consult the general physician, he will suggest good tests to be done.
Hi there are alot of symptons in there for fybromyalgia,i have two members of my family with this and think I am now getting that way. There are tests for this on pressure points around the body.Worth mentioning to your doctor.I am no doctor but just regonised alot of your symptons.Best of luck with a diagnosis.
I am assuming you have consulted an Neurologist.
Spinal tap done? Screened for Lyme's?
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Your problem looks more like saddle neuralgia or Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) in which the pudendal nerve (located in the pelvis) is entrapped or compressed. Pain is worsened by sitting, and there is a sense of a foreign object (constant urge to urinate) in the urethra. In addition to pain, symptoms can include sexual dysfunction, aginal numbness, impotence, bowel and bladder incontinence. The degree of entrapment decides other symptoms like numbness, skin crawling etc.
Diagnosis is by diagnostic block, MRI, CT scan, and Pudendal Nerve Motor Latency Test (PNMLT). Discuss this with your neurologist. Treatment is pudendal nerve block.
Take care!
