inner elbow pain

My right elbow has been hurting for a few months, inner bone, no swelling noticed, no arm or wrist pain, no elbow pain when flexing fingers or gripping....now my left elbow is hurting the same way.  and if I bump this inner bone, wow it really hurts...

I am 52 yr old woman, physically fit, run 25+ miles a week,  I do a small routine of weights, push ups, stretches, lunges daily, I am a vet tech, so I wrestle with pets all day, do some computer work, but not a lot...
I ride a motorcycle daily, have done so for the past 25 years.

If I ride for a few hrs, when lifting my hand from the grip my elbow hurts, also if running long ,when bending elbow it will hurt..

Whats the best way to treat this without stopping anything that I like to do?

Thanks, Deb

Severe is a term we use based on symptoms. In severe pain people cannot perform gripping actions at all, like grabbing a tooth brush. In these cases complete rest of the involved arm is advised along with corticosteroid injections to decrease the inflammation.

You mentioned that this is undiagnosed, which gives the indication that you have already visited a doctor for this.
From your description this sounds like a tendon injury around your elbow area, one such condition is " Lateral Epicondylitis" or tennis elbow but as the term suggest, the pain occurs on the lateral side or the outside of the elbow. Never the less the location of tendon injuries can vary and it can occur on the inside as well. I would recommend taking it easy on the weight lifting and pull ups and do push ups only upto the point where it does not hurt. in severe cases your doctor may recommend steroid injections but yours is not a severe case bug your description
