Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
I am sorry to hear that! Yes, it can very traumatic to lose your father at such a young age. What you probably suffer from is post traumatic stress disorder. More than medication psychotherapy and counseling helps. Please consult a psychologist. Take up activities that interest you. Keep yourself busy. You will have to be strong and learn to move forward. Not easy—but can be done. Take care!

Hello, did you say that you had tests ran to see if it was your heart? There is a few things that could probably cause shortness of breathe, it could be anything from anxiety, panic attacks, or something as simple as gas. I know how it feels to lose a parent as I lost my daddy at a even younger age than you, I was only 11. You could just be experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress over the loss of your beloved Father, but if you haven't went to the Doctor, I would so you could find out just what this is causing this, that way you will have one less thing to worry about... :) Good luck, and please keep us posted on how your doing.
